On May 5, long-time Dim Mak artists FROM MONUMENT TO MASSES headed into John Vanderslice's studio,Tiny Telephone Recording, to start work on their 4th album (due out in Fall 2008). They recorded with Matt Bayles whose amazing recording/mixing work with Minus The Bear, Russian Circles, and Isis were good indicators of the kinds of sound(s) FMTM was looking to achieve.
